NSA Director Comes Out Publicly Against Trump, Says He ‘Won’t Violate His Oath’

Trump just backtracked significantly after being called out at home for wanting to form “an impenetrable Cyber Security unit” with Russian President Vladimir Putin during their G-20 meeting.

Not less than 24 hours after Trump announced the proposed initiative, he already dismissed the idea entirely.

“The fact that President Putin and I discussed a Cyber Security Unit doesn’t mean I think it can happen. It can’t – but a ceasefire can, and did.”

Notice how Trump admits that “it can’t” happen.

Trump discussing proposed initiatives in private is one thing, but announcing it to the world via Twitter sounds like Trump took it seriously earlier in the day – that was before his own party started going against him for it, that is.

Here’s what he said earlier:

“Putin and I discussed forming an impenetrable Cyber Security unit so that election hacking and many other negative things, will be guarded.”

Basically, Trump is admitting that he lied not only to Putin but to the world. Is that really something he should be bragging about?

If Trump is so set on creating a good dialogue with Russia, he shouldn’t dismiss ideas before they even get off the ground, especially after he already told everyone about it.
