BREAKING: Putin Offers To Release Trump ‘Recording’

Russian President Vladimir Putin is now trolling the United States.

During his Wednesday morning press conference, Putin used the Russian word for “recording,” offering to provide a full account of Trump’s meeting with Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak. He’s offering to provide it to the U.S. Congress.

Trump has previously been criticized for releasing highly classified intelligence during the meeting.

Russia is saying that there was a stenographer in the room to record to meeting and given the media attention to it, decided to speak up about it in an apparent attempt to back up President Trump.

“The idea that we would accept any evidence from President Putin is absurd,” Republican Sen. Susan Collins told CNN.

“If Putin is now saying that he has tapes, that of course begs even more questions about why the Russians are recording conversations with the U.S. president,” House Intelligence Committee ranking member Adam Schiff told CNN’s Chris Cuomo. “All of this just gets more and more baffling every day.”
